Sharayah is from Newberg, Oregon where she grew up and attended school.  Following college at George Fox University (GFU), she joined a discipleship program at her church where she was involved in various ministries that included tutoring high school students, staying at a women's shelter, and maintaining the church facilities.

She has been a part of Resonate Community groups since 2010, and Resonate became her home church in 2012.  She is currently the Aesthetics Director at Resonate, overseeing Set Up, Tear Down, and Décor teams.  She occasionally serves on the worship team playing various instruments and providing vocals.

She graduated from GFU with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education, and she is currently working on a Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies at Western Seminary.  She loves teaching band and Bible classes at North Clackamas Christian School. For fun she enjoys gardening, knitting, hiking, and reading.
