Growing up in the Santiam watershed, Jacob is a native Oregonian. Although only living a few other places, Oregon calls him back - it is a special part of the world.

Jacob has served briefly at two other churches before coming full time to the Resonate community. He works best with a blank ministry canvas full of possibilities and potential. Establishing new systems of operations in each of the ministry settings, Jacob lives to connect people to each other, the outside world, and to God. He is currently the Associate Pastor of Mobilization and Theology at Resonate with the role of connection oversight in Resonate: connection to the outside world through community partnerships and other relationships, as well as internally through Fusion and Communication.

Outside of Resonate, Jacob is the manager of Symposium Coffee; where he interacts with his ideology of community and connection and love of coffee. He enjoys traveling, road cycling, being outdoors and adventuring, finding a good eatery, and working on his collection of inoperable vehicles. Jacob is also a student at George Fox University, in progress of obtaining his Masters of Arts in Theological Studies.
