Krista is the youngest of three in the Ranno Family. Despite growing up outside of Omaha, Nebraska, the Pacific Northwest slowly started to become home after moving to Sherwood, Oregon in 2005.
During her studies at Whitworth University, Krista gained exposure to East Africa. In 2012, she studied in Tanzania as part of a semester abroad. What began as disillusionment and frustration was later transformed into a deep interest in the philosophy of missions and international development. A few years later, Krista moved to Cote d’Ivoire, West Africa and lived there for two years.
While Krista’s involvement with Resonate dates back to 2011, it was intermittent due to her university studies in Spokane, Washington and overseas stints. After serving as one of Resonate’s missionaries, Krista moved into the position of Missions Director. She desires to see each person equipped and discipled for ministry in all spheres of life: at home, at work, in church, in local communities, and around the world.
Krista is currently working at Lahash International as their Sponsorship Director. Krista loves puns, Public Radio, parler en français, and puzzles. Alliteration aside, Krista loves a good cup of coffee.
